Job Description
Flight Attendants at FlySafair are responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers while delivering a memorable flying experience.
Key Duties:
- Ensure compliance with all aviation safety regulations and FlySafair’s internal procedures
- Deliver exceptional customer service and attend to passenger needs during flights
- Maintain a high level of personal integrity and professionalism at all times
- Complete pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight administrative tasks efficiently
- Act as the airline’s brand ambassador, promoting a positive and welcoming environment onboard
- Handle emergency situations calmly and competently as per training protocols
- Ensure strict compliance with grooming, uniform, and presentation standards
Ideal Candidate

Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
- Valid South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) Cabin Crew License (non-negotiable)
- Avmed DD50 Medical Certificate (non-negotiable)
- Dangerous Goods Certificate
- Ditching Certificate
- Fire Fighting Certificate
- Valid South African driver’s license and access to a private motor vehicle (non-negotiable)
- Level 4 English Language Proficiency
- Medically fit to perform cabin crew duties
- Ability to swim unaided
- Willingness to work irregular hours, shifts, weekends, and public holidays (including early morning departures and late-night returns)

- Immaculate grooming and professional appearance
- No visible tattoos while in uniform
- 100% adherence to FlySafair grooming and uniform standards
Role Responsibility
