Job Description
The Shop Assistant Cashier is responsible for executing daily store operations efficiently, ensuring seamless transactions at the point of sale while upholding Clicks’ commitment to superior customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute operational activities at the point of sale (POS) in an efficient manner.
- Ensure accuracy in scanning merchandise and processing customer payments.
- Handle cash transactions securely and efficiently.
- Promote the Clicks ClubCard and encourage new member enrollments to meet participation targets.
- Inform customers about in-store promotions, helping them maximize savings.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by being professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.
- Maintain merchandising standards and ensure products are well-stocked and neatly displayed.
- Uphold store cleanliness and adhere to housekeeping standards.
- Stay informed about new products, promotions, and events to provide customers with accurate information.

- Stock Management: Follow correct procedures for stock replenishment and management.
