This full-time, on-site position supports ground operations to ensure timely and safe handling of parcels across local and international routes.
Job Description
As a Courier Code 10 Professional, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting pick-ups and deliveries for both international and domestic shipments
- Safely transporting packages using FedEx delivery protocols
- Performing sorting, dispatch, and loading tasks at the station
- Providing top-notch customer service at all delivery points
- Following all health, safety, and quality assurance procedures
- Completing delivery documentation and electronic scans accurately
- Supporting the daily goals of the operations team
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Code 10 Driver’s License with PrDP (Professional Driving Permit)
- Minimum Grade 10 literacy and numeracy
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good planning, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Accuracy and attention to detail in delivery procedures
- Physically fit and able to manage packages with care
- Willingness to adhere to FedEx safety and quality standards
Preferred Experience
While not mandatory, the following experience would be beneficial:
- Previous work as a courier or delivery driver in the logistics sector
- Familiarity with domestic and international shipping procedures
- Experience in sorting, scanning, or dispatching of goods
- Customer-facing roles in fast-paced environments
