The programme is located at Clover’s Constantia Park Call Centre in Roodepoort, and is ideal for those who have recently completed Grade 12 and are passionate about starting a career in customer service and communication.

Job Description
The Clover Call Centre Learnership is a full-time programme designed to blend theoretical training with practical experience in a world-class Customer Service Centre. Learners will be trained to handle customer queries, process orders, promote products, and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Key duties during the learnership include:

  • Handling inbound and outbound customer calls professionally
  • Capturing customer orders accurately and timeously
  • Resolving queries and complaints in coordination with internal stakeholders
  • Promoting and selling Clover and principal brand products
  • Ensuring all customer interactions meet quality standards and service level agreements
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure overall departmental success

Participants will also attend formal classes as prescribed by the learnership to complete their NQF4 qualification, while applying their knowledge on the job through practical service delivery.

Ideal Candidate
This learnership is designed for youth who are passionate about customer service, eager to learn, and committed to developing a long-term career in the FMCG or contact centre industry. Candidates should be disciplined, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • South African citizen with a valid ID
  • Matric / Grade 12 completed between 2020 and 2024
  • Achieved a minimum of 55% in English and Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy
  • Computer literate with strong MS Office skills
  • Between 18 and 30 years of age
  • Currently unemployed and not enrolled in any other learnership or education programme
  • No previous participation in a learnership programme
  • Residing in Roodepoort or surrounding West Rand areas (advantageous)
  • No criminal record

Role Responsibility
As part of the Customer Service Centre team, learners will play an integral role in maintaining Clover’s high customer service standards and delivering a seamless experience to all clients. Responsibilities include:

  • Answering customer inquiries regarding orders, product availability, and deliveries
  • Logging and resolving customer issues efficiently
  • Communicating clearly and courteously with clients, both over the phone and via email
  • Processing orders and confirming delivery schedules
  • Identifying cross-selling opportunities and promoting new product ranges
  • Following up on outstanding issues and escalating where necessary
  • Informing stakeholders of potential delays or system issues
  • Participating in team meetings and providing feedback for process improvements
  • Supporting team objectives and company service goals
