Job Description:
The learnership blends theory and practical exposure to deliver an immersive training experience. Participants will gain the foundational knowledge and hands-on skills to:
- Execute eye-catching visual displays that align with PnP’s brand identity
- Assist in stock management and product placements
- Support retail operations including floor layout, customer flow, and merchandise rotation
- Learn how to create consumer-focused retail environments that drive engagement
- Attend classroom training sessions in visual merchandising and retail operations
- Engage with in-store teams to gain experience in real-life retail settings
Upon successful completion of the programme, learners will receive an accredited qualification and may be considered for future employment based on performance and business needs.
Ideal Candidate:
PnP Clothing is seeking applicants who:
- Are South African citizens aged between 18 and 35
- Have a minimum of Grade 12 / Matric (with communication and maths literacy at NQF Level 2)
- Are currently unemployed and not registered for any other formal study or training
- Have a strong interest in fashion, visual design, or creative merchandising
- Are committed to completing the full 12-month programme
- Are able to attend all classroom and practical sessions as required
- Have completed a pre-assessment process (where applicable)

Role Responsibility:
As a learner in the PnP Visual Merchandising programme, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Participating in structured learning sessions
- Assisting with in-store set-ups, window displays, and floor planning
- Collaborating with store staff and visual merchandisers to ensure product displays meet quality and brand standards
- Understanding how to analyze customer preferences and trends to influence product positioning
- Managing stock presentation and rotating merchandise
- Shadowing mentors and applying feedback to improve your skills
- Enhancing the overall shopping experience through creative storytelling using fashion
