- Must be a South African citizen residing in Gauteng Province
- Possession of one of the following school leaving certificates:
- Senior Certificate (with English, Biology, Mathematics requirements)
- National Senior Certificate (English Level 4, Life Sciences Level 4, Mathematics Level 4 or Maths Literacy Level 5, APS 27+)
- National Vocational Certificate (Primary Health)
- Current Grade 12 learners (Grade 11 final results considered)
- Registration of a profile on the GPG Professional Job Centre before applying
- Submission of certified academic results and supporting documents online
