This internship blends structured learning with real operations across key disciplines (Geology, Survey/Planning, Rock Engineering, Mining, Environmental). Interns work under supervision, complete theory and fieldwork, and build technical, safety, and professional competencies aligned to mining industry standards.

Qualification:

South African citizen aged 18–35
Matric/Grade 12 certificate
Medically fit for required duties
Proof of residence (water and lights account or signed affidavit)
Able to pass security screening
Preference for unemployed youth residing in KOSH, Viljoenskroon, Rammulotsi, or Vierfontein

Experience:

No formal work experience required
Prior internship/learnership not previously completed (preferred)
Any relevant academic projects, volunteering, or short courses are advantageous

Key Performance Areas:

Contribute to safety, compliance, and environmental stewardship
