Life Healthcare is one of South Africa’s largest private healthcare providers, operating hospitals and healthcare facilities across the country. Its education arm has been training nurses for more than 20 years and is registered as a Private Higher Education Institution with the Department of Higher Education and Training. The nursing programmes are accredited as a Nursing Education Institution with the South African Nursing Council, accredited by the Council on Higher Education, and affiliated to Nelson Mandela University.
Training takes place at seven learning centres situated in Springs, Cape Town, Durban, East London, Port Elizabeth, Pretoria and Roodepoort. As a student nurse, you experience a structured journey of academic learning, supervised clinical practice in Life Healthcare hospitals, and personal growth guided by experienced nurse educators.
