Life Healthcare Nursing Programme 2027 (Apply with Grade 12)

Life Healthcare has opened applications for its Nursing Training Programme for studies starting in 2027, a chance for Matric holders to train as nurses at one of South Africa’s most respected private hospital groups. Through its accredited learning centres, Life Healthcare trains student nurses with a blend of classroom theory and hands-on clinical practice in real hospitals. If you have a passion for caring for people and a National Senior Certificate, this is an accessible route into a stable, in-demand career. Applications are submitted in July, with a closing date of 31 July 2026.

About Life Healthcare and the programme

Life Healthcare is one of South Africa’s largest private healthcare providers, operating hospitals and healthcare facilities across the country. Its education arm has been training nurses for more than 20 years and is registered as a Private Higher Education Institution with the Department of Higher Education and Training. The nursing programmes are accredited as a Nursing Education Institution with the South African Nursing Council, accredited by the Council on Higher Education, and affiliated to Nelson Mandela University.

Training takes place at seven learning centres situated in Springs, Cape Town, Durban, East London, Port Elizabeth, Pretoria and Roodepoort.
