- Warehouse/Stockroom Assistant
- Service Area Assistant – Bakery
- Service Area Assistant – Butchery
- Service Area Assistant – Deli
- Service Area Assistant – Fruit & Veg
- Service Area Assistant – Cheese
- Production Assistant
- Blockman
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service by understanding product locations, benefits, and features
- Greet and assist customers, resolve queries, and escalate complaints when necessary
- Stock shelves efficiently, rotate stock, and ensure all displays are neat and well-organized
- Ensure accurate pricing, proper labeling, and report discrepancies
- Maintain hygiene, safety, and cold chain standards in relevant departments
- Prevent wastage, shrinkage, and manage damaged goods appropriately
- Follow company SOPs for retail operations and customer interactions
- Handle merchandising, visual standards, and backroom cleanliness
Skills and Attributes
- Excellent customer service skills
- Friendly, assertive, and professional communication
- Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures
- Physically able to work on your feet for extended periods
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and adaptable
- Comfortable working under pressure and on weekends or public holidays
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Passion for retail and enthusiasm for delivering great service
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
- Proficient in English
- Must be available to work mall/retail hours, including weekends
- Good local geographical knowledge is advantageous
- Basic computer literacy (advantageous but not required)
