Job Description
The Santam Learnership Programme aims to build a talent pipeline for the financial services industry by addressing the critical skills shortage. Through structured classroom and workplace training, learners will receive theoretical education aligned to the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), as well as practical experience within Santam’s operations.
Upon completion, learners will have obtained an NQF Level 4 insurance qualification, completed the FSCA Regulatory Exam RE5, and be eligible for professional membership with the Insurance Institute of South Africa (IISA) in the MIISA designation.

Who Can Apply?
This opportunity is strictly for unemployed South African youth who have completed Grade 12 and meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 certificate with:
- Minimum 50% in English and a second language
- Minimum 40% in Mathematics or 60% in Mathematical Literacy
- South African citizenship
- Aged between 18 and 28 years
- Unemployed at the time of application
- Not enrolled in any other study programme or institution
- Not previously enrolled in a Short-Term Insurance Learnership via INSETA
- Maximum 1 year of work experience
