Sibanye-Stillwater is offering a learnership program for 300 aspiring Learner Miners. This opportunity is ideal for motivated individuals aiming to develop skills in the mining sector and achieve a Blasting Certificate for Scheduled Mines.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 or an equivalent NQF qualification; Grade 10 with relevant experience will also be considered.
- Experience: Previous experience in a mining or related environment is a plus.
- Health & Screening: Candidates must be medically fit for underground work and pass a security clearance.
Key Responsibilities
Participants in the Learner Miner program will:
- Gain hands-on training to conduct safe and efficient blasting and other mining tasks within an underground environment.
- Acquire skills to uphold safety protocols and operational efficiency.
