Job Description
The Sales Representative: Emerging Markets plays a vital role in expanding Clover’s footprint in key regional stores and outlets. You will be responsible for managing customer accounts, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring that Clover’s products are well-stocked and merchandised according to brand standards.

Your main focus will be on delivering high-quality customer service, building a strong active buying base, and executing strategic sales plans to meet volume and revenue targets.

Key duties include:

  • Increasing sales volumes in designated stores and regions
  • Implementing structured call cycles and maintaining route plans
  • Managing customer relationships at store level
  • Providing feedback on customer needs and market trends
  • Maintaining stock levels and ensuring stock rotation to avoid returns
  • Tracking sales performance across outlets and product categories
  • Introducing new products and launching promotional campaigns
  • Negotiating shelf space, pricing, and promotional activity
  • Maintaining merchandising standards, fridge compliance, and product facings

  • Store Engagement
    • Prepare and follow detailed route plans
    • Visit stores according to set call cycles
    • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
  • Customer Support
    • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
    • Offer solutions based on customer feedback and store dynamics
    • Provide exceptional service through the entire sales process
  • Merchandising & Stock
    • Ensure products are correctly shelved and priced
    • Maintain consistent product facings and promotional displays
    • Minimise product returns through accurate forecasting and rotation
  • Reporting & Administration
    • Record daily sales, pricing, and outlet performance
    • Compile reports by product category and store performance
    • Implement agreed pricing and promotional strategies
  • Brand Representation
    • Serve as a Clover ambassador at all customer touchpoints
    • Promote new product launches and arrange promotional materials
    • Monitor and maintain Clover’s brand image in-store
