Job Description
The CCBSA Learnership Programme aims to develop qualified, entry-level packaging operators by combining practical on-the-job training with theoretical instruction. Over 12 months, learners will gain comprehensive insights into Coca-Cola’s bottling and packaging processes, quality control measures, and food handling practices.
This is a full-time, structured training programme that provides exposure to one of the most reputable manufacturing environments in the world. Upon successful completion, learners will receive a National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging (NQF Level 3).

Role Responsibility
As a Packaging Learner, you will:
- Participate in daily bottling and packaging operations under supervision
- Observe, follow, and apply safety and housekeeping standards
- Conduct basic quality control checks and understand product specifications
- Assist with bottling line changeovers and equipment cleanups
- Learn and apply food handling and hygiene protocols
- Attend all prescribed classroom training sessions and short courses
- Complete assignments and practical assessments as outlined in the learnership framework
- Adhere to CCBSA’s company policies, values, and manufacturing code of conduct
- Work effectively within a team environment and take initiative in your learning process

Qualifications
Applicants must meet all minimum requirements to be eligible:
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate, with:
- Mathematics (NOT Mathematical Literacy) passed with a minimum of 40%
- Physical Sciences passed with a minimum of 50%
- Two South African languages passed with at least 40%
- Must be unemployed at the time of appointment
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 35
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be an Employment Equity candidate
- Must not have previously completed the same qualification or learnership at another institution
