Job Description
As a Sales Trainee, you will gain in-depth exposure to the motor vehicle retail environment. You’ll learn the essential skills needed to succeed as an automotive sales executive—from customer relationship management and product knowledge to negotiation and closing techniques. The goal is to equip you with the tools and experience to thrive in a highly competitive, yet rewarding, industry.
Key Focus Areas Include:
- Learning the sales process from prospecting to deal closure
- Understanding vehicle features, finance, and aftermarket products
- Shadowing experienced sales professionals and learning through observation
- Engaging with customers and supporting their vehicle purchase journey
- Contributing to the achievement of dealership sales targets
- Developing interpersonal and communication skills essential to sales
Ideal Candidate

Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) – Essential
- Valid South African Driver’s License – Essential
- Diploma/Degree (Advantageous)
- Previous sales experience (Retail/Call Centre/Motor Industry) is beneficial
- Must be eager to join and grow in the automotive industry

- Strong passion for sales and customer interaction
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High interpersonal intelligence and emotional maturity
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email, internet)
