Job Description
The Dairy Production Learnership is a comprehensive programme structured around industry-relevant modules. It aims to upskill learners with a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training at Woodlands Dairy’s modern processing facilities.
Learners will be exposed to:
- Milk reception and storage procedures
- Clean-in-place (CIP) and clean-out-of-place (COP) cleaning systems
- Microbial and chemical testing of milk in laboratories
- Differentiation and treatment of various milk types
- Sanitation practices and regulatory compliance in dairy production
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a nationally recognised qualification aligned with South Africa’s Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) standards.
Ideal Candidate
To be considered for the learnership, applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Be a South African citizen with a valid ID document
- Be between 18 and 29 years old
- Have completed Grade 12 (Matric)
- Be currently unemployed and not participating in any other learnership
- Have no previous work experience in the dairy or food production sector

Role Responsibility
As part of the learning journey, selected learners will be responsible for:
