Job Description
The PPC Youth Development Programme provides hands-on experience in several of the company’s key operational units. Participants will be deployed across various business locations including:

  • PPC Aggregates – Mooiplaas (x3 positions)
  • PPC Aggregates – Laezonia (x1 position)
  • PPC Rosebank Head Office (x1 position)
  • PPC ReadyMix Division (x3 positions)
  • Ulula Ash – Kriel (x1 position)

Participants will gain practical exposure to the manufacturing and aggregates sector, with the added advantage of being mentored by professionals in the industry. The programme not only bridges the gap between academic learning and the working world but also empowers young people to become work-ready and professionally confident.

Ideal Candidate
PPC is looking for young, enthusiastic individuals who are eager to learn and make a meaningful contribution. The programme is ideal for:

  • Recent school leavers with a Matric/Grade 12 certificate
  • Individuals who are currently unemployed
  • Residents from the communities PPC serves, with preference given to those in Johannesburg, Midrand, Katlehong, Vosloorus, Spruitview, Rietspruit, Diepsloot, Olievenhoutbosch, Laudium, Atteridgeville, Lotus Gardens, Silverton, and Kriel

Role Responsibility
As a Youth Development Trainee at PPC, you will be expected to:

  • Actively participate in your assigned department’s daily operations
  • Complete structured workplace learning tasks and training modules
  • Engage with mentors and peers to gain insight into the industry
  • Support operational efficiency within the business unit
