Job Description
The Administrative Internship Programme 2025 offers participants comprehensive exposure to various administrative functions essential to managing a public education institution. Interns will rotate through multiple departments, including finance, human resources, academic administration, and student support services, where they will gain firsthand experience of government systems, compliance, and operational protocols.
Interns will work under the guidance of experienced professionals, applying their academic knowledge in real-world administrative scenarios while contributing directly to the effective functioning of the college.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Printing departmental registers for academic and administrative functions
- Capturing, updating, and maintaining student absenteeism records, test results, and examination marks
- Filing official documents, mailing departmental reports, and ensuring proper archiving of student records
- Processing and archiving enrolment forms in compliance with institutional policies
- Issuing exam permits to registered students
- Providing support in personnel administration, including HR filing and document management
- Assisting administrative staff with daily operational tasks to ensure departmental efficiency
Ideal Candidate
The internship programme is specifically designed for South African graduates who meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be under the age of 35
- Must be currently unemployed
- Must hold one of the following qualifications:
- N6 in Management Assistant
- National Diploma (N6) or a Degree in a relevant administrative or business management field
- Proof of in-service training requirement will be an added advantage
- Must be willing to work full-time for the full duration of the internship
- Must be willing to work in a public sector environment and comply with institutional regulations
Skills Required:
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Attention to detail and commitment to accurate recordkeeping
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Role Responsibility
