Clayville, CDC Cape Town, Bloemfontein, and Queensburgh, South Africa

Eligibility Requirements:

To qualify for this learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Education: Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.
Language Proficiency: Fluent in Business English (both written and verbal).
Availability: Willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Stock Control and Ordering:

Ensure proper stock management in-store and backup areas.
Minimize returns and report stock issues to the Area Manager.
Prevent out-of-stock situations and place accurate orders.
Maintain neat and clean product displays.
Properly handle crates and equipment as per company policy.

Shelving and Merchandising:

Maintain shelves in alignment with store and shelving plans.
Pack products according to merchandising guidelines.
Stock and maintain fridges effectively.
Ensure shelf sets align with plans and price labels are updated.
Display point-of-sale materials in designated positions.

Relationship Management:

Build and sustain positive relationships with:
- Store management
- Area Managers (AM)
- Head Office (HO)
- Customers
- Fellow Merchandisers
