Who Can Apply?
Eligibility Criteria:
- Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen aged 18–35 years.
- Employment Equity: Preference is given to candidates aligning with CCBSA’s Employment Equity policy.
- Education:
- Grade 12/Matric certificate with:
- Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy (minimum 40%).
- Physical Science (minimum 50%).
- Proficiency in English and at least one other South African language (minimum 40%).
- Post-matric qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Grade 12/Matric certificate with:
- Employment Status:
- Unemployed at the time of application.
- Must not have completed the same learnership or a similar qualification elsewhere.
Role Responsibilities
As part of the Packaging Learnership, participants will:
- Packaging: Assist in packaging Coca-Cola products while maintaining strict quality standards.
- Machine Operation: Operate and oversee packaging machinery to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Quality Control: Monitor packaging quality to ensure it meets Coca-Cola’s global standards.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any issues in the packaging process.
- Health & Safety: Follow established safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with experienced team members to gain valuable insights and skills.
What You Need to Succeed
- Qualifications: Matric/Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science.
- Attributes:
- Passion for packaging and manufacturing.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
- Interest in learning about machinery and technical processes.
