The South African National Parks (SANParks) is inviting applications from unemployed graduates for the Finance Internship Placement Programme 2025 at Table Mountain National Park, Tokai in the Western Cape. This placement provides valuable workplace exposure while contributing to the management of South Africa’s natural heritage.

Who is SANParks?

The South African National Parks (SANParks) is a government agency responsible for managing national parks across South Africa, including the world-famous Kruger National Park and Table Mountain National Park. SANParks is dedicated to conservation, sustainable tourism, and skills development for South African youth through internships and learnerships.

What is the Finance Internship Programme?

The SANParks Finance Internship 2025 is designed for graduates who have completed their N6 Certificate (18-month theoretical component) at a TVET College or Public Higher Education Institution (HEI). The internship placement runs until 31 March 2027, allowing interns to gain hands-on experience in finance, auditing, and supply chain management. Interns will receive a monthly stipend of R3,728.90 throughout the duration of the programme.

Candidate Role During the Programme

Are You Eligible? (Minimum Requirements)

  • Must be an unemployed graduate aged 18–35 years
  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Must have completed an N6 Certificate in a finance-related field from a South African public HEI
  • Must not have been previously employed or participated in an internship/placement programme
