Who is CIPC
The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), an agency of the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic), plays a vital role in South Africa’s economy by regulating companies, intellectual property rights, and business registrations. As part of its commitment to youth development, CIPC provides internship opportunities to help graduates build careers in both the public and private sectors.
What is the Graduate Internship Programme
The Graduate Internship Programme is a public service initiative introduced by Cabinet in 2002 to provide unemployed graduates with professional work experience. This programme allows graduates to:

Are you Eligible? Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- South African citizen, aged 18–35 years
- Completed Diploma or Degree in Call Centre
- Unemployed graduate who has not previously participated in an internship programme
- No prior full-time work experience
