Job Description
The Rodent Control Ambassador role is a temporary, field-based assignment that involves community engagement, public education, and environmental surveillance. Candidates will be expected to perform daily outreach visits to homes, distributing educational materials and providing important information related to rodent control and other environmental health concerns.
Core responsibilities include:
- Conducting door-to-door visits in a designated ward, reaching at least 30 households daily
- Educating community members on rodent control strategies and environmental health practices
- Distributing printed materials such as pamphlets and flyers

- Identifying and recording rodent-infested premises
- Following up with affected households and providing feedback reports
- Participating in ward-based health campaigns and awareness drives

- Completing attendance registers and data collection tools for monitoring purposes

Role Responsibility
As a Rodent Control Ambassador, you will carry out the following daily tasks:

- Identify households showing signs of rodent infestation
- Report infested premises and ensure these are logged for follow-up visits

- Submit feedback reports and performance logs to the Environmental Health Practitioner
