What is the Visual Merchandiser Learnership?
The Visual Merchandiser Learnership is a 12-month structured programme designed to provide work-based learning in sales and marketing. Learners will gain hands-on experience in merchandising standards, customer service, order facilitation, and promotional execution. The role reports to the Account Developer and requires collaboration with sales teams, customers, and consumers.


What you will gain

During this learnership, candidates will:

  • Develop commercial acumen and practical sales skills
  • Gain knowledge of merchandising execution in retail stores
  • Learn to implement and monitor Coca-Cola’s brand visibility standards
  • Understand consumer behaviour and customer engagement
  • Receive guidance and mentorship from experienced sales developers
  • Earn a qualification worth a minimum of 120 credits

Candidate role during the programme

  • Execute daily call schedules in assigned outlets
  • Implement visual merchandising, stock rotation, and in-store displays
  • Ensure product availability, visibility, and quality standards are met
  • Support customers in using the MyCCBA platform for orders
  • Assist with promotional campaigns and brand visibility initiatives
  • Provide relief support as required by the line manager

  • Learnerships (12 months, Visual Merchandising – Sales & Marketing focus)

Are you Eligible? (Requirements)

Applicants must meet the following:

  • Matric/Grade 12 with Mathematics/Maths Literacy (min. 40%)
  • Grade 12 English and a second language (min. 40%)
  • South African Citizen aged 18–35
  • Must be unemployed at the time of appointment
  • Employment Equity candidate
  • Available to work 6 days a week
  • No criminal or adverse credit record (verification will be conducted)
  • Must not be enrolled in another learnership or full-time studies
  • Must not have completed the same learnership before
  • A driver’s license is advantageous
  • A post-matric qualification in Sales & Marketing is preferred
