Job Description
The People Delivery Assistant is responsible for performing a range of HR administrative duties, ensuring efficient service delivery, and assisting with employee engagement. The role requires a well-organized and proactive individual who can manage HR-related processes and documentation effectively while maintaining a strong commitment to confidentiality and accuracy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative support to the Divisional People Partner and Regional People Partners
- Maintaining and updating employee records in HR databases
- Ensuring proper documentation of HR processes, policies, and compliance requirements
- Handling payroll queries, leave management, and employee benefit inquiries
- Coordinating HR events such as long-service awards, training, and employee appreciation programs
- Assisting with HR reporting, weekly audits, and staff training attendance registers
- Managing uniform and PPE distribution across branches
- Supporting the division in employee engagement activities
- Performing other HR-related duties as required

Role Responsibility
As a People Delivery Assistant, your core responsibilities include:
HR Administration and Compliance
- Keeping employee records accurate and up-to-date
- Ensuring HR documentation is filed correctly for auditing and reference purposes
- Assisting in compiling and updating HR policies and procedures
- Ensuring compliance with labour laws, company policies, and HR best practices
Employee Support and Engagement
- Handling leave queries, payroll concerns, and employee benefit-related inquiries
- Assisting with headcount reconciliation and ensuring accurate employee data records
- Coordinating and facilitating employee engagement events such as recognition programs and team appreciation meals
- Organizing HR training sessions and tracking attendance records
HR Reporting and Auditing
- Completing weekly reports and assisting in HR-related audits
- Monitoring and updating staff training attendance registers
- Supporting management with HR data and reports for decision-making
Event Coordination and Uniform Distribution
- Coordinating long-service awards, seasonal employee engagement activities, and training sessions
- Managing the distribution of uniforms and PPE for employees
- Assisting in organizing peak-season HR events and team-building activities
Skills and Attributes

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in HR administration and knowledge of best practices
- Strong computer literacy including experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Qualifications and Experience
To be eligible for this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
Education:
- National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or a relevant field (Essential)
Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in an HR administrative or HR Assistant role
- Exposure to HR support functions, including payroll queries, leave management, and compliance reporting
- Experience in handling HR documentation and records management
