The Department of Basic Education is responsible for managing and overseeing South Africa’s schooling system from Grade R to Grade 12. By offering internship programmes, the DBE is investing in the skills development of young South Africans.
What is the role posted?
The DBE Internship Programme 2025/2026 – 2027/2028 provides unemployed graduates with a 24-month contract to gain professional experience in various fields such as administration, management, IT, education, communications, and more. The programme aims to prepare participants for long-term employment opportunities while equipping them with practical and professional skills.
