Job Description
As a Betting Clerk, you will be at the frontline of Hollywoodbets’ retail branch operations. Your responsibilities will include handling customer bets, managing cash transactions, updating betting boards, and ensuring customers have an excellent in-store experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Branch Growth
- Update betting boards and scratchings promptly
- Post memos, results, and odds changes in real time
- Understand all betting rules, odds types, and pay-out procedures
- Observe and adhere to betting confirmation limits
Sales Administration
- Follow cash handling procedures accurately
- Stay alert for any potential fraud or irregular activities
Cash Management
- Verify float amounts at the start and end of each shift
- Perform interim cash checks throughout the day
- Address any cash shortages immediately, as per company policy
Branch Appearance
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and functional branch environment
- Ensure that workstations and betting terminals are always in top condition
Customer Service
- Greet and assist customers warmly and professionally
- Resolve complaints swiftly and professionally
- Foster strong relationships with regular bettors
- Promote a culture of “service with a smile”
Compliance
- Adhere strictly to all internal policies, ethical standards, and control procedures
- Ensure no credit betting occurs
