The role involves carrying out indoor residual spraying (IRS) and providing operational support to help prevent the spread of malaria. The contract period runs for 132 days, with a daily stipend of R310.

Job Position: Malaria Spray Operator | Job Type: Temporary Contract (132 days)
- Qualification: Grade 12 / Matric Certificate or equivalent (NQF level 4)
- Experience: No formal work experience required, but candidates must demonstrate basic reading, writing, and calculation skills
- Additional Requirements:
• Physically fit to carry spraying equipment
• Ability to work safely with chemicals
• Willingness to work in community field environments
Key Performance Areas
- Mix insecticides and prepare spraying solutions
- Load and offload spraying equipment and supplies
- Assist households with covering and protecting property before spraying
- Clean spray cans, vehicles, malaria stations, and equipment
- Complete spray and hut cards (SP 1) accurately
- Capture operational data during and after spray cycles
- Conduct community engagement and environmental surveillance
