Job Description
As an HR Graduate, you will participate in a tailored learning experience that includes practical on-the-job training, mentorship by seasoned HR professionals, and participation in cross-functional HR projects. The goal of the programme is to accelerate your development while exposing you to various HR specialisations within the retail environment.
You will work closely with business units and HR leaders, developing the knowledge and skills required to become a capable HR Business Partner and change agent in a rapidly evolving market.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- A completed undergraduate or postgraduate degree in BCOM Human Resource Management
- Not currently enrolled in any other programme or formal studies
- Not previously employed permanently with the same employer for longer than one year
- Available and committed to the full duration of the 12-month contract: 1 August 2025 – 31 July 2026
- Willingness to be based in Durban Head Office or the Hammarsdale Distribution Centre
Role Responsibility
During the programme, HR Graduates will be integrated into core business and HR functions. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the implementation of HR strategies and systems
- Engaging with various departments to understand business needs
- Participating in employee engagement initiatives
- Assisting with HR administrative processes and compliance
- Providing support for recruitment, onboarding, and learning & development
- Collaborating on HR-related projects that align with business priorities
You will rotate across departments, ensuring exposure to multiple HR disciplines and business units, giving you a holistic understanding of how HR drives business success.
