This 12-month internship offers three (x3) Sales Assistant positions in the Sales Division, based in Johannesburg. Job Description:
As a Sales Assistant Intern, you will play a crucial support role within the Sales & Marketing Division. Reporting to the Provincial Sales Manager, you will collaborate closely with Account Executives and internal teams to facilitate the delivery of high-quality sales solutions, client engagement, and revenue optimization.
The internship will expose you to multiple aspects of sales administration, customer service, trade marketing, procurement, SAP system operations, and overall departmental support. You will be part of an exciting team driving the commercial success of South Africa’s national broadcaster.

Role Responsibility:
The core duties and responsibilities of the Sales Assistant Intern include:
- Answer incoming calls and assist customers promptly and professionally
- Direct sales leads to the relevant team members and maintain updated client records
- Assist with the processing of purchase orders, vendor forms, and client enquiries
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage post-sales processes
- Liaise with clients regarding promotional offers and service delivery
- Maintain accurate filing systems, scan and email documents as needed
- Prepare and maintain sales reports, booking schedules, and tracking templates
- Schedule internal and external meetings, manage diaries, and handle minute-taking
- Assist in the organisation of trade marketing initiatives and corporate events
- Manage SAP-related duties including purchase requisitions, service entry sheets, travel bookings, and stationery orders
- Monitor departmental budget allocations and assist with the movement of funds
- Retrieve, compile, and present sales data for quarterly reviews and presentations
- Support the Account Executives with contract administration, deal documentation, and material dispatch
- Ensure efficient client service delivery and handle complaints/escalations appropriately
- Provide support in preparing sales decks, presentations, and promotional material
- Promote products and services across all platforms in collaboration with team members
- Help manage expenses, track bookings, and ensure document compliance
