- Eastern Cape (Gqeberha): 4 posts | Ref No. DPCI/EC/86/2024
- Western Cape (Bellville): 2 posts | Ref No. DPCI/WC/87/2024
- Salary: R131,265 per annum (Level 03)
Requirements:
To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualifications:
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or National Certificate (Vocational) recorded on the NQF Level 4 database.
Certifications:
- Registered with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA).
- Hold a minimum of a Grade C security certificate.
Legal Compliance:
- Must not be declared unfit to possess a firearm.
Additional Qualifications (Advantageous):
- Diploma/Degree in security-related fields.
- Relevant courses in security.
- Valid driver’s license (light motor vehicle).
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work shifts and extended hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will:
- Control access to premises and vehicles, adhering to safety regulations.
- Manage visitor identification and maintain accurate registers.
- Conduct inspections of vehicles, equipment, and personnel.
- Supervise maintenance and cleaning personnel.
- Inspect and report on security equipment deficiencies.
- Work flexible hours, including shifts.
