Who is Sekhukhune TVET College?

Sekhukhune TVET College is one of South Africa’s leading Technical and Vocational Education and Training institutions, committed to producing skilled graduates who are workplace-ready.

The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) is a Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA) focused on promoting skills development and qualifications in the mining and minerals sector. Together, they are creating opportunities to bridge the gap between education and employment.

What is the Electrical Apprenticeship Programme 2025?

The apprenticeship programme equips young South Africans with both theoretical learning and practical workplace training in the electrical trade.

Are you Eligible? Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have one of the following:

Grade 12 with pure Mathematics (technical subjects are an advantage)
NCV Level 2–4: Electrical Infrastructure and Construction (21 subjects completed)
N2 – N6: Electrical Engineering

Additional requirements:

Must be under 35 years of age
Preference for students from Sekhukhune TVET College
Must meet minimum academic criteria and pass assessments
