Job Description
The Future Leaders Graduate Internship Programme is not a typical graduate scheme—it’s a full-spectrum developmental journey. Interns will work on real business projects across multiple functional areas while receiving structured training, coaching, and mentoring support.
Participants will:
- Rotate across departments to gain holistic business exposure
- Receive training in leadership, personal development, and technical skills
- Be assigned to impactful projects that align with strategic goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business value
- Receive regular feedback, performance reviews, and career guidance
- Be exposed to executive leadership and industry experts
- Contribute to meaningful innovation and social impact initiatives
At the end of the 24-month period, top-performing graduates may be absorbed into full-time roles within Tiger Brands, depending on business needs and individual performance.
Ideal Candidate
Tiger Brands is seeking dynamic, driven, and innovative graduates who aspire to grow into future business leaders. Ideal applicants must:
- Be South African citizens aged between 18 and 35
- Have recently completed or be completing their final year of study in 2024
- Hold a 3- or 4-year tertiary qualification from a recognised institution (BTech, Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent)
- Demonstrate leadership qualities, adaptability, and a passion for learning
- Be available to begin the programme in 2025
- Have a strong academic record
- Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Be team-oriented, proactive, and results-driven
Role Responsibility
Graduate interns will be placed into roles within their field of study and will be responsible for:
- Participating in job-specific projects and departmental functions
- Applying academic knowledge in real-world business situations
- Providing innovative input in cross-functional discussions
- Preparing and delivering business presentations and reports
- Building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Attending all required training sessions and leadership workshops
- Meeting developmental objectives and key performance indicators
