Requirements

To qualify for this role, you must have:

Educational Qualifications:
- NQF Level 5 qualification or a DHA Qualification: Home Affairs Services at NQF Level 5 as recognized by SAQA.
Knowledge Base:
- Basic understanding of Departmental legislation and prescripts.
- Familiarity with the Public Service Regulatory Framework.
- Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles.
Additional Advantage:
- A valid driver’s license.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will:

Provide birth registration services by verifying and capturing applications on the National Population Register.
Handle death registration services, including safeguarding assets and sensitive documents.
Maintain accurate registers for birth occurrences vs. registered births, including foreign birth records.
Report and mitigate risks as per procedural requirements.
Deliver professional and prompt customer service.
Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and Departmental protocols.
