The Management Trainee Programme is an immersive 4–5 year development journey that blends hands-on experience, mentorship, leadership exposure, and structured training. You’ll work on real business projects and gain insights into mechanical operations within a dynamic supply chain and production environment. Ideal Candidate
We are looking for game-changing graduates who are passionate about engineering and innovation, with a mindset geared toward problem-solving and leadership.
To qualify, you must:
- Be a South African citizen or permanent resident
- Have completed or be in your final year of BEng / BSc / BTech in Mechanical Engineering
- Have strong academic results, particularly in your 2nd and 3rd year majors
- Be computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Hold a valid driver’s license (preferred)
- Be willing to relocate and rotate between sites/provinces during the programme
- Demonstrate strong initiative, leadership potential, and teamwork
Role Responsibility
As a Management Trainee in Mechanical Engineering, you will:
- Gain practical exposure to the operational, maintenance, and efficiency functions within production plants
- Analyse system performance and identify continuous improvement opportunities
- Lead or contribute to engineering and maintenance projects across the value chain
- Engage with cross-functional teams and departments to build holistic business knowledge
- Participate in structured learning and development modules that cover core and functional competencies
