Job Description
The Management Trainee Programme is an immersive 4–5 year development journey that blends hands-on experience, mentorship, leadership exposure, and structured training. You’ll work on real business projects and gain insights into mechanical operations within a dynamic supply chain and production environment. Ideal Candidate

To qualify, you must:

  • Be a South African citizen or permanent resident
  • Have completed or be in your final year of BEng / BSc / BTech in Mechanical Engineering
  • Have strong academic results, particularly in your 2nd and 3rd year majors
  • Be computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Hold a valid driver’s license (preferred)
  • Be willing to relocate and rotate between sites/provinces during the programme
  • Demonstrate strong initiative, leadership potential, and teamwork

Role Responsibility
As a Management Trainee in Mechanical Engineering, you will:

  • Gain practical exposure to the operational, maintenance, and efficiency functions within production plants
  • Analyse system performance and identify continuous improvement opportunities
  • Lead or contribute to engineering and maintenance projects across the value chain
  • Engage with cross-functional teams and departments to build holistic business knowledge
  • Participate in structured learning and development modules that cover core and functional competencies
  • Develop leadership potential and readiness for future technical and managerial roles within the organisation.
