The Sage Internship Programme is designed to provide entry-level candidates with structured, hands-on work experience aligned with their academic qualifications. You will be placed in departments that match your area of study and interest, where you will:

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal applicant is a South African citizen with a passion for learning and a drive to make an impact in a technology-driven business. You should:
- Be between the ages of 18 and 35
- Have recently completed or be close to completing your qualification
- Be available to commit to the internship full-time for its entire duration
- Be open to learning and adaptable to change
- Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and enthusiasm
Role Responsibility:
1. Sales Internship: Payroll
- Assist in generating leads and customer data management
- Support sales executives with client proposals and product demos
- Engage with potential and existing customers about Sage’s payroll solutions
- Contribute to sales campaigns and administrative reporting
- Learn to use CRM tools and business intelligence platforms
Requirements:
- A commerce qualification, preferably in Accounting or Economics
2. Internship: Customer Experience
- Interact with customers and resolve product or service-related inquiries
- Ensure excellent customer service through all communication channels
- Record customer feedback and escalate complex cases to relevant departments
- Participate in service improvement projects and training workshops
- Understand customer pain points to enhance user satisfaction
Requirements:
- A Grade 12/Matric certificate
- A diploma or degree qualification is an advantage
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office suite essential)
3. Internship: Finance Operations
- Support finance team with reconciliations, invoicing, and data entry
- Help prepare financial reports and assist with audits
- Learn the financial systems and tools used at Sage
- Collaborate with other business units on budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
