Qualification: Grade 12 (Matric) is required, higher education qualifications will be an advantage
Experience: 1 – 2 years of work experience in retail or customer service is preferred, with knowledge of retail practices and customer engagement
Key Performance Areas
- Customer Service: Greet and assist customers, provide product knowledge, upsell and cross-sell to maximize sales, promote all available payment methods including PAYFLEX, PJN, and Happy Pay, and represent the brand professionally according to grooming and uniform standards
- Visual Merchandising: Maintain knowledge of products, pricing, and materials, ensure products are tagged, steamed, and displayed correctly, replenish shelves and tables, and follow visual merchandising guidelines to maintain a positive shopping experience
- Stock Control: Monitor stock levels, replenish sales floor, maintain an organized stockroom, assist with deliveries and unboxing of products, and communicate stock requirements such as sell-outs and best sellers to managers
- Daily Operations and Housekeeping: Adhere to time and attendance procedures, accurately process transactions using POS systems, handle payments responsibly, maintain cleanliness in the store, and ensure displays and surfaces are tidy and organized
