Job Description
Afrimat’s 2025 internship intake spans across two key South African cities – Cape Town (Bellville) and Centurion. These internships are designed to support strategic functions within the company while also equipping interns with real workplace competencies.
Internship Opportunities Available:
1. Culture & People Experience Intern (Bellville, Cape Town)
Qualification Required:
- Honours Degree in Industrial or Organisational Psychology
Key Requirements:
- South African citizen with a valid driver’s license
- Willingness to relocate to Cape Town if necessary
- Medically fit in accordance with the Mine Health and Safety Act
- Clear criminal record
- Strong communication, time management, and ethical professionalism
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing culture and employee experience programmes
- Support wellbeing, effectiveness, and change management projects
- Contribute to research and organisational development initiatives
This role is ideal for psychology graduates looking to influence workplace culture and employee engagement in a structured, impactful manner.
2. People Management Intern (Centurion)
Qualification Required:
- Degree in Human Resource Management
Key Requirements:
- Driver’s license and access to own reliable transport
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)

- Understanding of HR processes, employee relations, and policy frameworks
Responsibilities:
- Participate in daily HR operations and administration
- Support employee relations and reporting tasks

3. Finance Intern (Centurion)
