Job Description

Ideal Candidate

  • South African citizen currently based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Finance, Financial Services, Sales, Economics, Marketing, or Risk Management)

Role Responsibility

Interns will be directly involved in:

  • Underwriting and Claims Support: Assisting with domestic and commercial policy assessments, claim processing, and product-specific policy wording interpretation
  • Sales and Client Relations: Supporting client onboarding, insurance solution development, and policy administration
  • Compliance Training: Working towards becoming an accredited representative under FAIS Law to offer professional insurance advisory services
  • Risk Solutions Development: Contributing to the creation of custom risk strategies, including profit share, captive products, and self-funded facilities
  • Reporting and Analysis: Assisting in business intelligence gathering, customer data analysis, and report generation
  • Digital Engagement: Using Microsoft 365 tools and CRM platforms to support digital communication, record-keeping, and team collaboration

Interns will engage across all levels of the business and gain a 360-degree perspective of the insurance and finance ecosystem.
