Job Description
The YEP Learnership is a 12-month structured programme combining theoretical learning, practical work experience, and mentoring designed to equip learners with essential knowledge and skills in wealth management. The learnership provides a Certificate in Wealth Management (NQF Level 4), recognized nationally, and aligned with industry standards. Learners will undergo classroom training, workplace-based learning, assessments, and regular coaching to ensure well-rounded development. This programme is tailored for candidates eager to grow professionally in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a motivated, committed South African youth, passionate about building a career in financial services. They should be eager to learn, adaptable to change, and able to work both independently and in a team setting. We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- South African citizen between 18 and 35 years old
- Currently unemployed
- No tertiary qualification held
- Completed Grade 12 with a minimum 50% in Mathematics or Maths Literacy or Accounting, and English
- Strong command of English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Willing to fully commit to the 12-month learnership programme
- Clear criminal and credit records
- Access to reliable transport
Role Responsibility
Learners will be responsible for:
- Acquiring in-depth knowledge of the company’s products, services, and operational processes
- Attending classroom-based lessons and actively participating
- Completing practical on-the-job training under supervision
- Compiling and submitting a comprehensive Portfolio of Evidence to InSeta
- Accurately filling out workplace-based logbooks
- Successfully passing formative and summative assessments required for certification
- Performing day-to-day duties assigned by managers in alignment with the learnership goals
