Handyman Job Responsibilities
As a handyman at Clover, your responsibilities will include:
- Perform elementary maintenance and repair work
- Complete scheduled work using assigned job cards
- Collect maintenance parts from the maintenance store
- Carry out basic electrical repairs
- Perform bricklaying, plastering, tiling, and plumbing tasks
- Repair interior and exterior fixtures and fittings
- Assist with mechanical repairs
- Conduct audio-visual equipment inspections
- Inspect and test equipment according to maintenance schedules
- Complete daily and monthly maintenance reports
- Ensure all work areas remain safe
- Demarcate maintenance areas when required
- Follow Clover’s health and safety procedures at all time
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must have:
- Grade 12 or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
- Relevant maintenance experience
- Experience applying job-related maintenance techniques
- Experience working with senior management
- Fluent Business English communication skills
- The ability to work in extreme conditions
