Job Description:
The Mr Price Group is currently hiring for a range of roles across its apparel, home, and financial services divisions. Roles include store operations, planning, technology, trend forecasting, and human resources. Role Responsibility:

1. Store Manager (Multiple Positions Nationwide)

Lead a team of associates to meet and exceed sales and turnover targets
Minimize stock loss and ensure inventory accuracy
Drive a high-performance culture through team motivation and mentoring
Manage all administrative and operational processes of the store
Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain visual merchandising standards

2. Assistant Store Manager

Support the Store Manager in daily store operations
Ensure adherence to merchandising and housekeeping standards
Supervise and guide store staff
Assist in reducing shrinkage and improving store productivity
Provide backup leadership during the Store Manager’s absence

3. Trend Forecaster – Mr Price Apparel (Durban)

Identify and analyze commercial fashion trends for the South African mass market
Deliver actionable insights to the buying and planning teams
Work closely with designers to curate product ranges based on forecasted trends
Deliver visual and conceptual trend presentations
Track global fashion developments to inspire local fashion offerings

4. Head of Planning – Sheet Street (Durban)

Lead the Planning Department and align business strategies with merchandise and stock management
Support the MD and buying teams with strategic planning
Drive margin optimization and efficient stock turn
Mentor and develop junior planners and analysts

5. Data Scientist – Mr Price Group (Durban)

Analyze large datasets to support data-driven decision making
Create predictive models to forecast sales, inventory, and customer behaviour
Collaborate with IT, buying, and planning teams to enhance operational efficiency
Drive innovation using machine learning and statistical techniques

6. Head of IT – Infrastructure & Cloud Services (Durban)

Lead the Group’s IT infrastructure and cloud operations
Ensure network availability, cybersecurity compliance, and scalable solutions
Manage vendor relationships and tech deployments
Lead IT teams to support business continuity and future scalability

7. HR Business Partner (HRBP) – Mr Price Group

Provide HR support to senior managers across departments
Handle employee engagement, recruitment, ER, coaching, and CCMA representation
Coordinate and implement HR projects and succession planning initiatives
Conduct inductions and drive HR compliance across the business

8. Graduate Training Programme – Human Resources (12 Months)

Learn and gain hands-on experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR projects
Support HR teams with daily administration and compliance
Ideal for recent Human Resources or Industrial Psychology graduates
