This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals with 3-5 years of experience in warehouse or distribution center management who are ready to step into a pivotal role.
Position: Senior Shift Manager
As the Senior Shift Manager, you will be entrusted with the comprehensive management of inbound, inventory, and outbound operations, playing a critical role in ensuring the seamless and efficient functioning of our distribution center.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: A relevant Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain.
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years in managing a warehouse or distribution center.
- Skills:
- Proficient in advanced Excel.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), High Jump, Bomm, and camera systems.
- Ability to work shift patterns.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in retail or warehouse settings.
- Proven staff management experience.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adequate staffing for picking and manage Material Handling Equipment (MHE) availability.
- Oversee the efficient and timely completion of picking and administrative tasks.
- Report on shift attendance and performance metrics.
- Manage stock, receiving, replenishment, reverse logistics, and Chep pallets.
- Take full responsibility during scheduled night shifts.
- Oversee inventory management and control.
- Supervise and support both staff and managers.
- Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and provide necessary training.
- Upskill management team and plan for succession.
- Liaise with Resolve Planning and Transporters.
- Manage recycling operations.
