Job Description:
As a Salesperson, you will be the first point of contact between the customer and the company, representing our brand with professionalism and energy. Your primary responsibility will be to drive sales by providing outstanding customer service, identifying customer needs, and recommending suitable products. You will play a key role in ensuring that sales targets are met and that customers walk away with a positive experience that brings them back again.

Your core mission includes generating income, building customer loyalty, and maximising store profitability through proactive selling and merchandising efforts.

Key Duties:

  • Perform daily sales activities to promote product and service offerings
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
  • Assist customers by providing accurate product information and recommendations
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently (cash and credit)
  • Maintain excellent visual merchandising standards in-store
  • Support inventory control efforts and manage stock levels on the sales floor
  • Follow all internal policies regarding pricing, promotions, and returns
  • Stay updated on product knowledge across all categories
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring repeat business and loyalty
  • Collaborate with team members to improve overall sales performance

Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Grade 12 / Matric qualification
  • 7 to 12 months of sales experience (preferably in a retail setting)
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and deliver strong customer experiences
  • Familiarity with basic retail procedures and POS systems

  • Supporting merchandising plans to ensure high-impact visual displays
  • Handling returns, complaints, and inquiries with professionalism and care
  • Reporting sales figures and trends to management for strategic planning
  • Participating in training and upskilling programs to improve product knowledge and sales techniques
