Job Description
The primary function of the EPWP Data Capturing Administrator is to provide accurate and timely data capturing and administrative support to the EPWP Unit. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining data integrity in official systems, supporting day-to-day operations, and ensuring that EPWP reports and documentation are up to date and filed accordingly.

Key duties include:

  • Capturing EPWP participant data into the system
  • Maintaining digital and paper records of participant registers and contracts
  • Assisting with report generation and tracking of performance metrics
  • Coordinating updates with field units and programme supervisors
  • General office administration including filing, photocopying, minute-taking, and documentation preparation
  • Ensuring EPWP documents are stored and retrieved efficiently

Ideal Candidate
To qualify for the EPWP: Data Capturing Administrator role, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF Level 4 equivalent
  • 6 months’ experience in administration or data capturing
  • Computer literacy, especially in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

It is advantageous to have:

  • Knowledge of the Expanded Public Works Programme Reporting System (EPWPRS)
  • Experience working in a local government or public sector environment
