Job Description

The Traffic Monitor will be responsible for monitoring and controlling traffic flow, conducting patrols, educating the public on road safety, and reporting incidents. Role Responsibility

    • Grade 12 (Senior Certificate)
    • NQF Level 5 in Basic Traffic Training
  • Licensing and Proficiency:
    • Valid Code EB Driver’s License
    • Firearm proficiency certificate (advantageous for enforcement functions)
  • Other Requirements:
    • No criminal record (verified during background check)
    • At least 2–5 years of relevant experience in traffic, security, or public safety environments

Salary

  • Annual Remuneration: R307,066.00 per annum (Level 9)
  • Salary excludes applicable government benefits such as pension fund contributions, medical aid, and uniform allowance as per municipal policy.
