Job Description
The Graduate-in-Training Programme 2025 is tailored to equip participants with both theoretical and practical skills through a structured blend of workplace experience and academic training. Graduates will benefit from direct mentorship, team collaborations, and exposure to key operational areas within Eskom.
Programme participants will be placed across the Northern Cape and North West provinces, including in cities such as Kimberley and Rustenburg. The programme targets several professional disciplines critical to the energy sector and Eskom’s future-readiness.
Successful candidates will be placed in departments that match their qualifications, where they will be expected to:

Role Responsibility
Graduates accepted into the Eskom GIT Programme will take on critical supporting roles that align with their field of study. These responsibilities include:
- Supporting operational teams in infrastructure projects and maintenance activities
- Assisting in the development, execution, and monitoring of project plans
- Contributing to data analysis, reporting, and document management systems
- Engaging with suppliers and stakeholders in line with Eskom’s procurement procedures
- Promoting compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Participating in team meetings, workshops, and strategy sessions
Each participant will be assigned a mentor and be encouraged to take ownership of their learning and performance throughout the programme.
