Job Description
As a learner, you will be placed in one of Motus Aftermarket Parts’ operations across Gauteng. This includes warehouse and distribution centres in Pretoria, Johannesburg, Krugersdorp, Kempton Park, and the East Rand. You will support various functions in inventory control, warehouse management, and logistics under the guidance of experienced team leaders.

You will receive training and practical experience in key operational areas such as:

  • Binning and inventory replenishment
  • Picking and packing customer and branch orders
  • Scanner usage and equipment tracking
  • General warehouse hygiene and organisation
  • Stock receiving and stocktake support
  • Customer order processing and quality control

Ideal Candidate
Motus is looking for candidates who are committed, responsible, and ready to learn. You must:

  • Be aged between 18 and 25 years
  • Have completed Grade 12 / Matric
  • Be unemployed and not registered for any other learnership or studies
  • Be available immediately
  • Have a clear criminal record
  • Live in or around the listed Gauteng locations

Role Responsibility

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Binning:

  • Allocate new product bins correctly within the warehouse system
  • Replenish stock from bulk storage to picking locations
  • Ensure inventory is accurately placed and reported

Picking:

  • Timely picking of branch and customer orders before daily cut-off times
  • Maintain stock integrity and avoid packaging damage
  • Support packing operations by ensuring orders are accurate
  • Assist in physical stock counts and general inventory tasks

Scanner Control:

  • Daily issue and return of barcode scanners to warehouse staff
  • Inspect scanners for damage and log on internal systems
  • Report damaged equipment to supervisors immediately
  • Maintain accurate logs of scanner use and condition

You will also be expected to:

  • Follow all company SOPs and health and safety regulations
  • Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of your work area
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail when handling stock
