What is the PYEI Client Service Officer Programme?

The PYEI Client Service Officer recruitment drive aims to strengthen public services by placing 165 young South Africans at Labour Centres across the KZN Province. Successful candidates will provide frontline support, help process Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) applications, and improve service delivery to citizens.

Candidate role during the programme

As a Client Service Officer, you will:

Provide screening services to clients at Labour Centres
Process UIF benefit applications and continuation forms
Register and manage payment forms
Handle administrative functions and records management
Ensure professional client service and timely query resolution

Are you eligible?

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
0–6 months of relevant experience
Must not have participated in another internship/graduate programme
Knowledge of UIF Policies, POPIA, PFMA, Batho Pele Principles, and Treasury Regulations
