Job Position: Senior Legal Administration Officer
Job Type: Permanent Government Position
Qualification:
- An LLB Degree or a relevant B Degree in Law
Experience:
- A minimum of 8 years post-graduate experience in the legal field
- Strong knowledge of legislation and compliance frameworks
- Computer literacy and a valid driver’s license are essential
Key Performance Areas
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Implementing contract policies and procedures
- Administering and managing contracts in line with legislation
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls and legal stipulations
- Drafting and vetting legal contracts for accuracy and compliance
- Managing litigation processes and providing legal opinions
- Handling debt collection and contract enforcement matters
- Supporting labour relations and resolving labour-related issues
- Conducting training on legislation and compliance where necessary
